Knitted Snowman Family

My Knitted Snowman family!

This is such a fun winter knitting project! I love snowmen and have so many, but really I can never have enough of these cute little guys! My Mom sent me these knitting instructions long ago, so I'm not sure where they came from. My Mom is a fantastic knitter! Slippers, sweaters, vests, hats, and of course mittens! I was always amazed how she could knit with her eyes closed! She taught my younger sister and brother and I how to knit, I remember one time sitting on lawn chairs out in the front yard learning the craft. My little Sis even made a shrink (vest) she wore on the first day to kindergarten! My brother didn't stick with it; probably for fear of getting hurt on the playground! As for me I stick to the basics, mainly crafty stuff, once I made one mitten with 4 needles! Wow! Didn't do me much good in the winter!
You can knit up a family of these adorable snowmen for the holidays in no time and it only takes two needles!

*Basic knitting skills are very helpful to make this project!
